Who we are

Doing it well, our essence.

Mooma

Offering truly good products is our main goal and commitment. To enjoy authentic, intense, vibrant flavors.

But that’s not enough. Besides being delicious, they must also be healthy and sustainable. Only when these three conditions are met can a product be called good, without reservation.

These are our principles. And they have guided us from day one, when we were exclusively dedicated to the family business of apple cultivation in the heart of the Montgrí Natural Park.

Perhaps that’s why we took a step forward and started making our own ciders and natural juices. And our liqueurs. And our jams… And surely this also prompted us to open our first restaurant surrounded by apple trees. Always striving to offer good products.

But to offer good products, there is only one way: doing things well.

Today we are farmers, producers, and restaurateurs, and perhaps in the future we will be even more things. But always faithful to what is most important to us: always offering the best, both in what we offer and how we do it.

Who we are

Doing it with authentic flavors

These are some of the things we do well so you can enjoy the extraordinary traditional flavors.

We respect the natural cycle in the field without alterations that could affect the original flavor.
We only harvest the product at its optimal ripening point, when it expresses its flavor with full intensity. Never before.
We prioritize fresh, local produce so that the dishes we offer express all the richness and depth of real flavors.
We offer juices with predominant varieties, adapting to the harvest times throughout the year, avoiding processes like refrigeration that can alter their flavor.
We avoid the use of unnecessary additives or preservatives that can alter the genuine flavor of our fruits or recipes.
We use traditional, respectful methods in time and form for the production of our ciders and liqueurs.
Who we are

Doing it healthily

Our product range is very broad and varied, from vegetables to hearty meats. But we place great importance on how they have been grown or raised to ensure they are always the healthiest and most natural.

We complement our apple orchards with seasonal crops such as kale, calçots, watermelons, and increasingly more products that you can find fresh in our shops or on our menu.
We promote the cultivation and consumption of superfoods like red berries. Rich in antioxidants and beneficial for cardiovascular health, among many other benefits, you can enjoy them fresh, in juices, or in our recipes.
We are champions of apple consumption in all its varieties. Recognized as one of the healthiest fruits worldwide because it is rich in fiber, controls blood sugar, and protects brain health, among others.
We rationalize the use of chemical treatments through research and innovation; we are leaders in limiting products like phytosanitaries.
We work with suppliers who share our philosophy of respecting and valuing the product and its purity.
Who we are

Doing it sustainably

If it’s not good for the planet, it can’t be good. These are some of the things we do so you can enjoy our products knowing that you are not generating any ecological impact.

We research to adapt to the new reality of climate change, participating in the search for new varieties that better adapt to higher temperatures and increasingly lower average rainfall.
The facilities where we make our juices and ciders are located in the middle of our Mas Saulot estate. This allows us to reduce almost all energy expenditure on transport.
We follow the km0 philosophy in everything we do. Whether directly with products from our fields or in the selection of local suppliers who guarantee proximity and the neutralization of the environmental footprint.
We are a benchmark for the circular economy; everything that comes from our fields returns to them as natural fertilizer, and waste generation is practically zero.
We seek new and more efficient packaging that can be reusable and uses the least possible plastic in everything we do and produce.
