We want you to smell the apples ripening on the trees, observe the beauty of the flowers up close in spring, be surprised by the species of flora and fauna that surround us, or share doubts and sensations with our front-of-house staff. Because here we only want one thing: for you to be yourself and enjoy without pretension or artifice.
Two fruit farms:
Mas Saulot and La Resclosa.
They aren’t just land and fields; they are part of the family.
Mas Saulot, in Palau-Sator, is the origin of Mooma: first with the apple orchards that replaced other crops, and later with the first restaurant. Today it is the heart of the project, where different apple varieties are grown, juices and ciders are produced, and guided tours and tastings are held in a natural setting ideal for enjoying in good company.
The La Resclosa farm, in Gualta, added at the turn of the millennium, stands out for its beauty and integration with the Ter River. In addition to the apple orchards, it is a space for innovation with crops such as berries or kiwis, and research into new varieties adapted to climate change. It is also the setting for the Harvest Open Days, where families can pick fruit directly from the trees.
In total, Mooma works more than 93 hectares of apple trees, with varieties such as Royal Gala, Golden, Granny Smith, or Fuji, harvested between August and November.
They are restaurants. But they are also spaces to enjoy the surroundings. To enjoy the company. To let the hours pass by in conversation. To be surprised by genuine flavors. In addition to the original Mooma in Palau-Sator located at the Mas, there are four more establishments.
The essence of Mooma fused with the idiosyncrasy of La Cerdanya. The best of two worlds that complement each other and offer an authentic festival for the senses. It’s hard to find a place with more personality in the area than the one offered by the Cerdanya Airfield: open to the valley and with wide, generous views of the entire surrounding environment. Whether in summer or winter, by car or bicycle; here you will find a privileged space to enjoy local gastronomy dishes, one of our rice dishes, or a surprising cocktail. A place to see and live.
The Sidral with the scent of salt and the soundtrack of the waves. A unique spot where two souls of the Costa Brava meet. On one side, the infinite blue sky of Platja de Pals and on the other, the meticulous detail of the Begur coves. Sidral Platja de Pals is the door that opens to these two worlds and invites you to enjoy 24 hours a day. From savoring a rice dish at lunch to accompanying the early morning with one of our cocktails made with our own products. Sometimes, simplicity can be an extraordinary luxury.
The authentic flavors of the Empordà are championed in Platja d’Aro with Sidral Platja d’Aro. In an international and very dynamic environment, our cuisine based on local products makes perfect sense. You’ll find us located on the town’s main artery, integrated into its infinite commercial and leisure offer, but asserting our values and our commitment. As soon as you step onto our terrace, you can enjoy a small oasis in the middle of the madness. Our youngest and most informal proposal. Designed to enjoy the summer in all its intensity and bring pure, genuine flavors to the hottest months of the year. Sidralet is located on one of the most beloved urban beaches on the Costa Brava and aims to coexist with it by providing a fresher and more casual offer so you can enjoy it between swims or with its take-away service. Sidralet wants to be another corner of this beach, culminating a spectacular day enjoying the sea in all its fullness. Here we turn the environment into another ingredient of our menu. You choose: do you come to Sidralet because you’re spending the day at La Fosca, or do you go to La Fosca because you’re going to Sidralet?
