Who are we?
We are the third generation of the family that cultivates apples in the Empordà. In 2016, after 4 years of research, we decided to market Mooma (Montgrí + Poma): the first Catalan cider. This is a fresh, completely natural, short-circuit, low-alcohol, and healthy drink. It is a USA cider.
Cider is made following a careful selection of apples, mixing according to the characteristics, maceration, press and fermentation. The cellar follows a careful process of control, transfer, clarification, filtration, gasification and, finally, bottling. Each of our ciders has a specific process that lasts from 6 to 12 months and varies every year. The causes of this variation are mainly linked to the time of harvesting apples. The spring and summer weather conditions, the insolation that affects the sugars, the soil that can change the production and the vigor, or the age and variety of the apple trees are some of the main aspects that must be taken into account.
We also make apple juice. We offer four different types: Gala, Pink Rosée, Fuji and Granny Smith. Each of these juices has its own personality to satisfy all tastes. Also, if you take a look at our online store you will also discover apple vinegar, jam and compote among other products.
We are located in the middle of the Emporda: in the Natural Park Montgrí, Illes Medes and Baix Ter, an idyllic environment where mountains, valleys and crops join the river Ter and the Mediterranean Sea. The characteristics of our territory provide us with optimal conditions for the production of the apple.

Tradition, health and sustainability
More than 50 years of family experience in the field of fruit growing allow us to offer quality products derived from the apple. The apple contains antioxidants minerals, vitamins and polyphenols. This puts our products on the basis of a healthy and balanced diet. Mooma products are km-0 as the whole raw material comes from the previous plantations located in Palau-sator (Baix Empordà).
